Race 1: GEORGE BOURNE & ASSOC. QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres

YARD GLASS was fractious in the float on route to the track and underwent a veterinary inspection prior starting.

THE SMUGGLER – Jumped inwards hindering an inside runner.

MISS RAFFINATE – Hampered at the start and couldn’t muster early speed then travelled wide in the latter stages of the race.

BURJ AL – Jumped away awkwardly, raced onto heels at the 500m then travelled wide with no cover.

Race 2: BENTLEY’S QLD/CENTRAL WEST RURAL CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000 metres

Jockey D. Rewald was permitted by stewards to ride MAKE AMENDS 0.5kg overweight.

DESTINO STRADA – Bounded for several strides shortly after the start.

ACCEPTING – Jumped away awkwardly.

YUM SING – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

CUBA ROSE – Slow to begin as the gates were slow to open.

Race 3: RAY WHITE LONGREACH / PRO TYRES RATINGS BAND 0-55 HANDICAP - 1200 metres

S. McGovern was permitted to ride 1kg overweight.

MISS DELIMA – Jumped inwards.

JEDDA’S GIRL – Contacted at the start.

FINNIGAN’S FOLLY – Jumped away awkwardly making contact with an inside runner and then was slow into stride.

ANOTHER SHADE – Travelled wide for the majority with no cover.

Race 4: SUFFREN MOORE CIVIL CLASS 6 PLATE - 1200 metres

CHOSEN SON – Travelled wide in the early stages and middle stages.

AMERICAN HUSSLER – Lay in under pressure down the home straight and corrected then eased as an inside runner shifted ground at the 120m.

SKAZIA – Rolled off the fence at the 400m and corrected, then shifted out at the 120m taking the running of an outside runner. Apprentice H. Laffin was reprimanded and reminded of her obligation to keep her mount straight.

MURPHY’S COAL DUST – Tightened at the 80m.

WICKED WOODY – Shifted in down the home straight.

Race 5: BURRUMBUTTOCK HAY RUNNERS WILLOWIE CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres

Jockey S. McGovern was the rider of HOLEY GADOLEY and permitted to ride 1kg overweight.

GARDER LA FOI – Slow into stride.

HARD LIQUOR – Slow to begin, then held up for a run at the top of the straight.

HOLEY GADOLEY – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the event.
