RACE 2: CITY OF IPSWICH MAIDEN H’CAP – 1000M
 
DUBLE MEANING – Trainer B. Lunney was fined $100 for failing to produce the horse's Identification Card. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages and was inclined to lay out from the 600m.
 
ONYX LASS – Stood flat-footed at the start and lost ground.
 
ORQUESTA – Began awkwardly and raced three wide without cover in the early stages.
 
RACE 3: SKY RACING BENCHMARK 70 H’CAP – 800M
 
CAPTAIN TANGO – Inclined to lay out rounding the home turn and had to be steadied from heels.
 
LUSHNESS – Began awkwardly.
 
GO GET SUM – Began awkwardly.
 

 
RACE 4: LAST CHANCE FOR MELBOURNE CUP LUNCHEON AT ITC CLASS 4 H’CAP – 1666M
 
POOKIES GRIN – Slow to begin. Awkwardly placed at heels momentarily rounding the home turn.
 
COOL DAYS – Slow to begin.
 
BILBERRY STAR – Trainer B. Brown reported that the gelding may not have appreciated today's firm racing surface.
 
RACE 5: WEDDINGS, PARTIES, ANYTHING AT ITC CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1200M
 
FLIRTATIOUS FEMME – Slow to begin. Had to be eased approaching the home turn after improving on to heels.
 
OVER THE VENTURE – When questioned regarding the horse's performance, apprentice J. Oliver stated that the mare was first up today and would appreciate racing over further distances than today's event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
PROUDER – Began awkwardly. Raced three wide without cover.
 
RACE 6: BOOK NOW FOR FESTIVE BUFFET CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1000M
 
ZOU DER ZEE – Slow to begin.
 
TOFU MICK – Raced three wide from the 700m.
 
ARCHDUKE – Slow to begin.
 
CHILDHOOD SECRET – Following today's performance, trainer R. Heathcote reported that the mare would now be retired from racing.
 
DEEP HARBOUR – Raced wide from the 700m.
 
LADY AMERICA – Lost the near fore plate in running.
 
TOSCANAWAY – Rider R. Fradd reported at scale that the mare was having its first start in nearly two years and would take benefit from today's run, along with a step up in distance.
