SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

KILCOY 17 April 2021 - Race 1: AB D.B. SIGG - KILCOY DIGGERS MDN HCP – 1900m

PRINCE HUSSON – Following a report from the QRIC Integrity Investigative Team, trainer K Martin was directed to present his treatment book to Stewards prior to the race meeting on the above date. Stewards on inspection of these records identified that PRINCE HUSSON had received a treatment within the one clear day of racing at Kilcoy 17 April 2021. Stewards after speaking with trainer K Martin and in consultation with the Raceday Veterinary Surgeon, could not be satisfied that the product administered to the gelding did not contain an alkalinising agent and therefore was declared a late scratching by the order of Stewards. Samples were also taken for analysis from PRINCE HUSSON on the day and were later found not to contain an alkalising agent. Trainer K Martin was advised of the results and the matter concluded.
