Meek SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT GENERAL Overweights permitted as per the Stewards Race Day Summary. Race 1: HILLY MAUNSELL MEMORIAL QTIS Maiden Plate (1000 metres) NORTHERN WATER – lay in under pressure over the concluding stages. OUR YOUNG MAN – put in awkward strides approaching the 900 metres. SANDRAS – rider reported hung in for most of the race and raced wide for the majority. ALL SORTED – raced wide throughout. BUBBLE BATH – began awkwardly and jumped inwards sharply after the start. HEAVEN BLESS – underwent pre-race veterinary inspection and was cleared to start. COUNTRY ROADS – raced wide throughout. Race 2: BRAIDWOOD Class Class B Handicap (1000 metres) OXYGEN MAN – began awkwardly jumping outwards as a result was very slow into stride. PLENTY OF TICKER – slow into stride and raced wide throughout. HOT CHOCOLATE – slow into stride. SHEMADEMEDOIT – raced wide throughout. Race 3: RAMSAY PASTORAL COMPANY BENCHMARK 55 Handicap (1200 metres) FORGED IN STONE – began awkwardly jumping into the side of the gates, shortly after the start bumped with GRAND PALAZZO. BOOMSHAKE THE ROOM – began awkwardly as a result was slow into stride and raced wide throughout. GRAND PALAZZO – bumped with FORGED IN STONE shortly after the start. STRWABERRY BLONDE – slow to begin and raced wide throughout. THE LANDING – began awkwardly and raced wide throughout. Race 4: BARCOO SHIRE CUP OPENHandicap (1400 metres) SMOOTH MOVE – raced wide in the early and middle stages, was forced in near the 1000 metres when pressured by HEROISM and bumped with GYPSY BIKER shortly after entering the home straight. GYPSEY BIKER – was bumped by SMOOTH MOVE shortly after entering the home straight. TROMMELSCHLAGEN – Jockey John Rudd reported his saddled slipped 100 metres after the start placing him at a disadvantage throughout the race. HEROISM – raced wide throughout and pressured SMOOTH MOVE approaching the 1000 metres. Race 5: SNOW & MARY HALL MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 60 Handicap (1800 metres) DUBAI MOON – raced wide from the 1000 metre mark. PHYLAVE – shortly after the start had to steady momentarily when crossed by VIKING RAID. ADVERSARY – Apprentice jockey Sophie Wilcox was permitted to ride 1kg overweight due to no other rider being available. ITSALLKAY – stood flat footed as the start was affected as a result was slow into stride. Going around the turn out of the straight the first time had to be steadied after over racing onto heels. GONZO – leaving the finishing post the first time was severely checked by NICKSY BOY resulting in losing considerable ground. NICKSY BOY – approaching the finishing post the first time commenced to take charge of the rider and hung out fiercely heading towards the outside rail, in doing so severely checked GONZO and FANDRAL. After checking both runners NICKSY BOY has continued on an outward path towards the outside running rail which it tried to jump and in doing so dislodged jockey Ross Tilley. Jockey Ross Tilley was treated on course by Queensland ambulance officers before being transported to hospital for further treatment and observation.Trainer Darryel Dolgner was advised that NICKSY BOY was barred from racing until it passes two barrier trials to the satisfaction of Stewards. FANDRAL – leaving the finishing post the first time was severely checked by NICKSY BOY resulting in losing considerable ground.
