Race 1: BIRDCAGE HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres

READY FOR ROYALTY – Stood in barrier, losing ground. Trainer M.Oates was warned stewards would need to see an improvement from the gelding or a bar would be enforced.

BUNDABURRA – Slow and awkward away and raced greenly and wide throughout.

KHAPMANIA – Travelled wide for the majority.

SHE’S A BIT FANCY – Hung out rounding home turn.

Race 2: ROCK ‘N’ROADBITUMEN EMULSION PRODUCTS RATINGS BAND 0-45 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

FASTPITCH – Jumped outwards bumping RHYTHM NATION, then travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race. Hampered by bucking horse shortly after the start.

RAHEEBS KINGDOM – Bucked 100m from the start, nearly dislodging jockey Hancock and hampering FASTPITCH and travelled wide from that point on.

Race 3: ROCK ‘N’ ROAD BITUMEN ASPHALT QTIS BM 60 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

COWARDOFTHECOUNTY – was a late scratching at 9:30am as the horse was unable to get to the course due to wet conditions.

FLIRTING DRAGON – Stewards permitted jockey D. Rewald to ride 1kg overweight.

WIGPOOL – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

GO SAI – Jumped away awkwardly.

REIGNING TO WIN – Uncompetitive throughout.

STANDOVER – Jockey B. Richardson was fined the sum of $300 for excessive use of the whip under AR 137A.

Race 4: ROCK ‘N’ ROAD BITUMEN REJUVENATION PRODUCTS CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres

I’M A CLANGER – Jumped inwards making contact with GOODNESS GRACIOUS.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS – Contacted at the start then clipped heels with I’M A CLANGER dislodging jockey R. Hancock. Jockey Hancock was uninjured and permitted to ride in the remainder of his races.

JAGUAR EDITION – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages on the event.

DIAMONEEZE- Jumped outwards.

Race 5: BIRDCAGE HOTEL OPEN PLATE - 1100 metres

CRAWFISH – Travelled wide for the majority of the event, rolled in over the concluding stages causing NEPTUNE EXPRESS to be eased.

LEO’S SPIRIT – Slow to begin.

NEPTUNE EXPRESS – Eased off heels in the 100m.

BUTHER BOY- Slow to begin.

CUMANI – Hung out for the entire event.
