Race 1: RAIN ON THE BARCOO BM 50 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

J. Lait was the rider of SPECK OF GOLD.

FINNIGAN’S FOLLY was scratched at 12pm as there were no riders available.

BETTER OFFER – Fractious in barriers prior to the start, reared as the gates opened and jumped away awkwardly and slow. Travelled wide with no cover throughout.

I’M A ZULU – Travelled wide for the majority with cover.

Race 2: LONGREACH TYRE CENTRE/XXXX MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres

GIFTED VENTURE – Contacted heavily at the start both sides losing ground.

O’BEHAVE – Jumped inwards making contacted with an inside runner.

NOBODY’S FOOL – Jumped outwards making contact with an outside runner, showed no early speed and travelled wide throughout.

GO GADGET GO – Jumped inwards contacting an inside runner.

MYBOYOLIVER – Contacted at the start and hung in the home straight proving difficult to ride out.

Race 3: O’BRIENS GARAGE BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

ANOTHER SHADE was a late scratching at 12:30pm as there were no available jockeys.

LAST PARDEE – Bounded out of the gates, then contacted by an outside runner.

NO OTHER WAY – Jumped awkwardly contacting an inside runner then travelled wide.

GO SAI – Slow to begin.

BONTEMPELLI -- Slow into stride, shifted ground at the 400m hampering another runner.

CONQUISTADOR – Eased at the 400m when another runner shifted ground.

Race 4: SHELL SERVICE STATION CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres

S. McGOVERN was the rider of SWEENEY as there was no other willing jockey and permitted to ride 1 kg overweight.

DESTINO STRADA – Jumped away awkwardly.

ARMANI PRINCE – Jumped inwards contacting an inside runner.

ACCEPTING – Contacted at the start.

SWEENEY – Jumped away awkwardly.

Race 5: MYERS NEWSAGENCY CLASS 3 PLATE - 1400 metres

CHOCOLATE BOLT – Slow into stride.

ROCKET ON BOARD – Jumped outwards and travelled wide in the early and middle stages.

SPURSYN – Slow into stride and held up for clear running in the home straight.

RACE 6: P.T. BACKHOE HIRE OPEN HANDICAP – 1300 metres

LANSDOWNE ROAD was a late scratching at 12.30pm as there were no riders available.

S. McGovern was the rider of NEPTUNE EXPRESS and permitted to 1kg overweight.

HELLUVA HURRY – Eased at the 600m when another runner shifted ground.
