Riding Changes:
When Jockey M Cullen became ill after riding race 3, Stewards permitted the following changes as per the Steward’s summary; Jockey M Cullen was told that he must furnish a medical clearance prior to riding again.

Race 1: John & Josephine Forster Patron Gift Open Plate 900 Metres.
1st – CRAIGLEA CRUZ 2nd – ALBERTIQUE 3rd – FIVE O’CLOCK 4th – HOLEY GADOLEY

HOLEY GADOLEY – Shifted in at the start.

FOREWARNED – Bumped at the start.

Race 2: Liberty Oil Benchmark 50 Handicap 900 Metres.
1st – EXCEEDED 2nd – RAPID QUALO 3rd – KELCHEZ 4th – FLAMINGO ROSE

FLAMINGO ROSE – Slow to begin.

DIURNAL TIGER – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

WORLD MUSIC – Raced wide on the home turn. Jockey S McGovern reported that his mount never travelled comfortably throughout.

KELCHEZ – Prior to the declaration of correct weight Jockey J Esser requested to view the photo, after doing so he was satisfied with the judge’s placing’s and correct weight was declared.

Race 3: Carter Family QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 Metres.
1st – POWER UP 2nd – JUST PRETENDS 3rd – AKHEILOS 4th – ON A ZEPHYR

HONEY CAT – Was a late withdrawal at 11am when suitable rider was available.

TOOGOOLAWAH TRUMP – Was a late withdrawal at 11am when no suitable was available.

AKHEILOS – Slow to begin.

COCOA POPS – Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 4: Bob Clarke Class B Handicap 1200 Metres.
1st – FIRST PAIGE 2nd – BANCO 3rd – LARABEE 4th – CRAIGLEA SWIFT

PUREFLEET PRINCESS – Was a late withdrawal at 11am when no suitable rider was available.

DASHING DUB - Prior to the start being effected, the gelding broke through the front of the barriers but was quickly restrained by the rider, then underwent a pre-race veterinary inspection and was passed fit to start.

BANCO – Raced wide throughout.

CRAIGLEA SWIFT - Raced wide rounding the home turn.

Race 5: Maxwelton Cup Benchmark 65 Handicap 1200 Metres.
1st – TRAVEL IN STYLE 2nd – REVEL IN THE CHAOS 3rd – WHAT THE HECK 4th – SMOOTH GENERAL

REQUIREMENT - When no other suitable rider was available stewards permitted Jockey J Esser to ride the gelding 2kg over its declared weight.

SMOOTH GENERAL - Slow to begin then raced wide rounding the home turn.

MAN OF MELODY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
