Race 1: MINING & ENERGY UNION QTIS MDN PLT – 1000M



CHARGRILL – Jockey C McIver reported that his mount was inclined to lay in throughout and approaching the 200m when he was attempting to use the whip in a backhand motion on the nearside, CHARGRILL again laid in and jockey McIver used the whip down the shoulder on the offside in an unorthodox manner to correct the gelding. Whilst stewards’ had no concern with this particular incident after viewing the available films, jockey McIver was reminded of his obligations regarding the manner in which he uses the whip.



MISHANI CRUISE – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.



FAIRYBOWER FLYER – Slow to begin and failed to muster speed after being placed in the kickback.



Race 2: HAHNLEC RATINGS BAND 0 - 55 HCP – 1000M



I AM BOLT – Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.



CARDANO – Hampered on jumping.



MISS DAURIAN – Raced wide throughout.



LOST ‘N’ FOUND – Shifted out on jumping.



SHE’S OUR EMPRESS – Slow to begin.



CHILENA –Raced wide throughout.



Race 3: SURELIFT CRANE HIRE CLASS B HCP – 1170M



NINE CARATS – Slow to begin.



Race 4: RACING QUEENSLAND COUNTRY STAMPEDE QUALIFIER OPEN HCP – 1170M

Race 5: ISAAC REGIONAL COUNCIL MORANBAH CUP BM60 HCP – 1550M



STARTS DON’T RUST – Raced wide throughout.



CAPITAL GIRL – Apprentice E Molloy advised that her mount never travelled throughout the event and resented the kickback.



BRAZEN BRECCIA – Blundered severely on jumping and raced wide throughout. Apprentice G Semmens was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using her whip 7 times prior to the 100m, 2 more than permitted.
