Race 1: Isaac Regional Council Class B Handicap- 1000 metres

Due to no available riders, HARRY MET SANDY and DANE CHEVAL were declared late scratchings at 11.57am.

BAGGER MUSCLES- Difficult to load. Dipped near the 400 metres.

BULLETIN BELLE- Jockey permitted to rider 1 kilogram overweight due to no other available riders.

SEEYAWHENISEEYA- Blundered on jumping and further hampered when RED CHEVY COUPE jumped outwards.

WHISKEY LAD- Began awkwardly.

Following this race, some riders expressed concern with the condition of the track, particularly near the home turn. The majority of riders did not take issue with the track condition.
Stewards inspected this portion of the track and remedial work was conducted prior to the start of Race 2 and carried out between each races. As a result, Race 2 was delayed approximately 10 minutes.

Race 2: Undamine Industries BM 60 Handicap- 1000 metres

CHAIN THE GATE- On leaving the enclosure, fractious and blundered. A veterinary inspection on arrival at the barrier cleared the gelding to start. Slow into stride.

Race 3: Civeo Rosebowl QTIS Maiden Plate 1000 metres - 1000 metres

CANDLE LANTERN- Declared a late scratching at 8.17am due to no available rider at or close to the allotted weight.

Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Trainer T Cook (JUST CALL ME ANNIE) viewed the available patrol film with the view to lodge an objection against the winner. After doing so, Mr Cook did not proceed.

CATHEDRAL CITY- Jockey Sheargold was permitted to ride the filly 1 kilogram overweight, given the handicap weight of 54.5kg and that no other rider was available at or closer to the allotted weight. Began awkwardly and was slow into stride.

SPURTING COLOURS- Inside the 200 metres, lay in and bumped JUST CALL ME ANNIE, which shifted to the inside of OUR BOY HIPPY.

JUST CALL ME ANNIE- Observed with blood in its mouth on return to the enclosure. A veterinary inspection revealed a small laceration to be the cause.

Race 4: Anglo Amercian Middlemount Cup Open Handicap- 1200 metres

No Racing Incidents.

Race 5: Graeme Acton Memorial BM 50 - 1200 metres

The late rider declaration of Jockey B. Bell for STITCHEN TIME was accepted.
Trainer W Baker was fined $100 for failure to notify the gear change of Tongue Tie on by the prescribed time.

GOLD CLAIM- Slow to begin. Raced wide on the track at the rear of the field.

SLIP RAIL- Raced wide on the track at the rear of the field.

IDOL FACTOR- Jockey reported that his mount failed to handle the track throughout.
