Race 1: Class 3 Plate 1450 metres:
1st – HE’S A MAGICIAN 2nd – GOOD MOOD 3rd – LUCKY APACHE 4th – TIME AND CHANCE

No racing incidents.

Race 2: Benchmark 65 Handicap 900 metres:
1st – COURT ACTION 2nd – BOOT SHAKER 3rd – SHOW US THE WAY 4th – ALBERTIQUE

DOOM CITY DRAGON – Was a late withdrawal at 1.35pm on veterinary advice when the mare was found to have swelling in the offside knee.

BOOT SHAKER – Was bumped at the start.

HIMALAYAN WOLF – Was buffeted between runners at the start.

Race 3: Class 1 Handicap 900 metres:
1st – SMART CRAFT 2nd – YOUR WAY OR MINE 3rd – MUSCAT 4th – HONEY CAT

MUSCAT – Slow to begin.

STRUCTUAL DAMAGE – When questioned apprentice L Dillon reported that after being slow to begin her mount was then reluctant to stretch out in the early stages due to the kickback.

Race 4: Benchmark 60 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – DIURNAL TIGER 2nd – ZIGGLER 3rd – STAR TRUCE 4th – EXTRA

ZIGGLER – Dislodged apprentice L Dillon during the parade to the barriers, was then inspected by the club’s veterinary officer and passed fit to start. Was bumped at the start.

EXTRA – Shifted in at the start and made contact with another runner.

MASATAKA – Laid in under pressure in the straight.

Race 5: Ratings Band 0-45 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – FLAMINGO ROSE 2nd – AZUSA 3rd – NICABELLE 4th – SO SURE

MORE DUST – Was a late withdrawal at 8.30am when no rider was available.

SO SURE – Was slow to begin.

CRYSTAL COURT – Raced ungenerously in the early stages.
