WICKED WILLY – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
UNDERTHESPOTLIGHT – Raced wide for the majority. Jockey J Hoopert was fined the sum of $200 under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) in that he used his whip on 8 occasions, 3 more than permitted prior to the 100m.
PRUSSIAN DREAM - Slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
ROCKETHEAD – Raced wide for the majority.

TOKYO FRIENDS – Slow to begin.
MAYARI – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
THE APPOINTED TIME – Was bumped by another runner on jumping.

Race 3: TREVOR MORRIS BUILDERS COPPERMART OPEN Handicap (1100m)
LEVEL EIGHT – Slow to begin. Race wide in the early and middle stages.
CRAIGLEA ALTONA – Raced wide for the majority.

FINGERTIPS – Stewards permitted jockey D Ballard to ride the gelding 2kg overweight as no other rider was available. Raced wide rounding the home turn.
POWER STATION – Raced wide in the middle stages.
HOPE AS ALWAYS – Slowly into stride after beginning awkwardly. Raced wide for the majority.
INJUSTICE – Raced wide for the majority. Jockey G Walters was reprimanded under the provisions of AR132(7)(a)(ii) for using his whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100m (1st offence).
