Race 1: GEORGE BOURNE & ASSOCIATES MAIDEN PLATE – 1000 metres


LOCA DA VIDA – Jockey S. McCullum was dislodged on the way to the barriers, the mare was quickly recaptured and passed a veterinary inspection prior to starting. Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the race.

MORNING RAINBOW – Slow away and travelled wide for the majority.

GO GADGET GO – Awkward and slow to begin and hung in under pressure down the home straight.


Race 2: EYRIEWALD SANTA STUD QTIS BM 65 HANDICAP - 1000 metres

CRYSTAL MATES was a late scratching as there was no rider available.

RED KISSES – Travelled wide for the majority with no cover.


Race 3: TOPX LONGREACH CLASS B HANDICAP - 1200 metres

O’BEHAVE – Jumped out making heavy contact with an outside runner.

MAKE AMENDS – Jumped inwards making heavy contact with an inside runner.

DIAMOND KAZ – Jumped away awkwardly and outwards.

ARMANI PRINCE – Slow to begin and could muster no early speed and travelled wide for the majority with no cover.


Race 4: TROPIC DISTRIBUTORS BM 50 HANDICAP - 1400 metres


BILLY JAY and FINNIGAN’S FOLLY were both scratching as there were no jockeys available.

SKY DISK – Had his back offside foot caught in the gate leaving the mounting yard. The gelding passed a veterinary inspection prior to being able to start. Jumped away extremely awkwardly and then slow into stride.

CHOCOLATE BOLT – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages.

SPURSYN – Slow to begin and travelled wide in the early and middle stages with no cover.

Race 5: MUTTABURRA CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1400 metres


S. McGovern was the rider of SHOW US A SMILE and permitted to ride 2kg overweight as there were no other riders available.

PEACE TALKS – Stood flat footed in the barriers losing considerable ground.

CUMANI – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages with no cover.
