After viewing the patrol footage stewards determined ALL HYPE gate did open marginally slower then the rest of the field and as such declared the gelding a non runner, with all monies invested on ALL HYPE to be refunded, with the following deductions. 12c win and 11c place. Starting prices subject to deductions.MISS LAZARETTO – Attempted to buck shortly after the start. Trainer S. The gelding undertook a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was cleared to start.ABBEY DAZZLER – Slow to begin.MAJOR BO – Raced keenly leaving the 800m. Held up for clear running from the 200m until the 100m.HE’LL BE RIGHT – Raced keenly leaving 800m. Jockey B.P. Appo was fined $100 for excessive use of the whip prior to the 100m. Apprentice Keal, rider of I DO CARE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding, in that over the concluding stages he allowed his mount to shift in whilst under competitive riding, resulting in a tightening to runners to his inside, that being LUCKS IN, SIMPLY SHOWTIME and STRATALENA resulting in the riders of all horses having to take hold of their mounts at this stage. Apprentice Keal was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days, to commence at midnight, 20 August and to expire at midnight, 27 August. CHILLDOWN - Raced wide throughout.MINTO’S LASS - Raced wide throughout.CARRY THE DRINKS – Post race vet examination revealed that the gelding bled both nostrils. Trainer J.
