Race 1: PEOPLE FIRST CLASS B HANDICAP - 1000M



Start of this race was delayed when:



MATILDA MISS refused to load;



WHISPERING WINGS was fractious in the barriers, broke through the front and galloped riderless for a considerable distance;



Subsequently, both horses were declared late scratching’s at 12:55pm. Stewards ordered that all monies invested on MATILDA MISS and WHISPERING WINGS be refunded, with the following deductions to apply:



8 cents in the dollar for the Win #9

16 cents in the dollar for place of winner #9

17 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #5

16 cents in the dollar for 3rd place #4



Trainer T. Dougall (MATILDA MISS) and Trainer G. Schwenke (WHISPERING WINGS) were advised that both mares must obtain a further barrier certificate in an official trial prior to racing again.



AGENT ALBERT – Began awkwardly shifted out and made contact with CASH’S REJECT.



CASH’S REJECT – Tightened for room between runners on jumping.



ENCORE SALL – Tightened for room between runners on jumping and lost considerable ground. Raced in restricted room shortly after the start.



IN TAIWAN – Began awkwardly shifted in and made contact with ENCORE SALL. Shortly after had to check from heels of I AM RELENTLESS (Jockey N. Evans) which shifted in. Jockey N.Evans was reprimanded.



KAKADU PLUM - Shifted in near the 900m when not fully clear of I AM RELENTLESS which had to be steadied. B. Derbyshire rider of KAKADU PLUM was reprimanded.



CLANDESTINE AFFAIR – Began awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.



MOLLARA – Raced wide throughout.



BREAK THE DROUGHT - Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination as the horse had not started in the last 12 months and was cleared to race. After the winning post had to steady from the heels of CASH’S REJECT (Jockey B. Appo), which shifted in under pressure. Jockey B. Appo was advised to exercise more care when shifting ground.





Race 2: HERITAGE NANANGO MARDI GRAS OPEN HANDICAP – 1000M



Jockey N. Evans was examined by QAS and stood down from his remaining engagements due to illness. Jockey Evans was advised that he would be required to provide a medical clearance prior to his next race ride. Rider changes as per race day summary.



JEPTOO – Slow to begin. Leaving the 400m, hangout, became awkward on heels and had to steady.



BEAUFORT GYRE – Crowded for room over the concluding stages when SQUEEMI (app. H. English) shifted out under pressure. App. H. English was advised to exercise more care.



SQUEEMI – Raced wide throughout.



FORETOKEN – Near the 50m was disappointed for a run to the inside HARIIR and had to steady from heels.



GLENTHORN AVENUE – Began awkwardly and lost considerable ground.



TESTASCANA – Raced wide throughout.





Race 3:HERITAGE HOME LOAN MAIDEN PLATE– 1200M



ELRAES – Slow to begin. App. S. Lacy reported at scales that the gelding raced very greenly in the early and middle stages however, found the line strongly over the concluding stages.



LAUDABLE LEMON – Steadied from heels near the 1000m from RISK ADVSIOR (App. S. Plamer), which shifted in. App.S. Palmer was issued a reprimand. Shifted out abruptly over the concluding stages.



ANYHOW ANYTIME – Raced wide throughout.



DENARTE – Began awkwardly



DEALERS LUCK – Slow to begin.





Race 4: HERITAGE BANK NANANGO B’MARK 55 HANDICAP – 1200M



CANID – Raced wide throughout.



LITTLE JATZ – Slow to begin.



PAGOH- Near the 1000m had to check from heels of JEDDA’S GIRL (App. S. Palmer), which shifted in. App. S. Palmer was issued a severe reprimand.



WINNER WIMMER – Raced wide throughout.



COVER UP – Raced wide throughout.



Race 5: HERITAGE BANK NANANGO B’MARK 55 HANDICAP– 1200M





Start of race was delayed when SIMPLY SHOW TIME got it hind leg up in the gates, was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was cleared to race.



DUBLING – Near the 400m hung out across heels and had to be steadied.



SIMPLY SHOWTIME – Raced wide throughout.



POP BUBBLE POP – Raced wide throughout.



YARRANDI – Began awkwardly, shifted out and made heavy contact with FLIGHT TO GLORY.



CALGARY – On jumping was tightened for room between runners and lost considerable ground.



FLIGHT TO GLORY - Began awkwardly, shifted in and made heavy contact with YARRANDI.



Race 6: HERITAGE COMMUNITY FUNDING B’MARK 55 HANDICAP – 1600M



UNDER THE WEATHER – Raced ungenerously early stages.



DEADLY DENIS – Began awkwardly.



MAN OF LAW - Began awkwardly.



KEL’S SHADOW – Began awkwardly and lost ground.



COUSIN BEN – Race wide throughout.



CHILI BEACH – Bumped at the start.



COOL DAYS – Began awkwardly shifted in and made contact with CHILLI BEACH.



PRINCE OF PEACE – Race wide throughout.
