OLD TOWN ROAD, UNSURE, MISHANI BLING, MISHANI GHOST and MISHANI BLOSSOM were all declared late scratching’s @ 9:50am by order of the stewards as there were no riders available.
 
 
Race 1: A E ARTHUR MEMORIAL/MIRAGE LAND AND WATER Benchmark 55 Handicap 800m
 
STAR OF ZIZOU – Due to no riders being available Jockey B Moffat was permitted to ride the mare 2.5kg overweight. Began awkwardly bumping another runner.
 
MISS MOSS – Bumped on jumping.
 
EXPELLABLE – Hung out in the early and middle stages.
 
BIZARRO – Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
Race 2: ELDERS QTIS Maiden Plate 1000m
 
BILLJIM – Due to no other rider being available Stewards permitted Jockey J Baker to rider the gelding 1.5kg overweight. Slow to begin. Upon returning to scale Jockey J Baker reported the gelding was not entirely comfortable in its action during the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
 
BOOROOL RULER – Began awkwardly. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
 
Race 3: R&B MCINTOSH MEMORIAL/ GRIMWADE AND GORDON & MCKEAN AND MCGREGOR LIVESTOCK CLUB Handicap
 
WANTED MISS – Knuckled shortly after the start.
 
IRISH SPIRIT – Slow to begin.
 
EDDIEGATO – Hung out throughout proving difficult to ride out in the home straight.
 
Race 4: WATERS HENRY AND DAVEY NOORAMA CUP Open Handicap 1200m
 
TOCCO D’ORO – Due to no riders being available Jockey B Moffat was permitted to ride the mare 2kg overweight.
 
GADFLY - Due to no other rider being available Stewards permitted Jockey J Baker to rider the gelding 3.5kg overweight.

Race 5: AF & MF BLAKE MEMORIAL/WESTERN MEAT EXPOTERS Benchmark 60 Handicap 1400m
 
PHONZIA - Due to no riders being available Jockey B Moffat was permitted to ride the mare 2kg overweight. Began awkwardly.
 
 
ROTHBYE – Inclined to lay in during the home straight.
