Race 1: RICHMOND SES OPEN Handicap 1000 metres:
1st - SMOOTH ELEMENT       2nd – ALBERTIQUE   3rd - COURT ACTION             4th - CARRY ME        


SMOOTH ELEMENT - Slow to begin.
 
CARRY ME – Raced wide all the way. 
 
ALBERTIQUE-  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be displaying extreme respiratory noises. Veterinarian recommended a comprehensive veterinarian examination and report prior to racing again. Trainer’s representative advised veterinary clearance required before again starting in a race.

Race 2: THE PATRON'S BenchMark 55 Handicap 1000 metres:
1st - SPARKLING VIXEN        2nd - BORN TO FIRE  3rd - TARA IRONWOOD         4th - APERTURE


TRESSLES –Raced wide rounding the home turn.  
 
HONEY CAT -  Jumped inwards as the start was effected making heavy contact with another runner.
 
APERTURE - Marginally slow to go and then heavily contacted by another runner losing ground. Raced wide most of the way. 
 
MORE GEORGE – Bumped by another runner on jumping.

Race 3: RICHMOND FIRE SERVICE BenchMark 45 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st - MORE DUST       2nd – POTHOLES       3rd – AZUSA   4th – MUSCAT                       
 
OMEGA – Slow to go and raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn.  
 
SO SURE – Slow to go and raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
SWITCH POINT - Came together with another runner on jumping.
 
HOUSE RULES – Came together with another runner on jumping and raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
SWITCH POINT - Came together with another runner on jumping.
 
SUBOSAMI – Raced wide rounding the 800 metre turn. 
 
MORE DUST – Stewards interviewed Jockey K Ballard regarding today’s improved performance. Jockey Ballard was unable to offer any other explanation than perhaps the drop in class from the geldings previous two starts. Stewards noted the explanation.

Race 4: QLD POLICE SERVICE BenchMark 60 Handicap 1200 metres:
1st - BUSH LAWYER  2nd -  HEAD DRAGON           3rd - DIURNAL TIGER            4th - MONTH OF SUNDAYS


SMOOTH GENERAL -  Was a late scratching when no rider was available.
 
ROMANTICIZE - Was a late scratching when no rider was available.
 
FLAMINGO ROSE – Jumped awkwardly losing some ground. 
 
DUKE’S DELIGHT – Came together with another runner on jumping.
 
BUSH LAWYER – Jumped awkwardly. 
 
HEAD DRAGON – Came together with another runner on jumping.
 
WULFWIN –  Raced wide most of the way.
 
FOREWARNED – Raced wide most of the way.

Race 5: RICHMOND SPOUSEHUNTER'S BALL Class B Handicap 1400 metres:
1st - DASHING DUB   2nd - FAST TRACK MAGIC    3rd - MOJAVE ROYALE         4th - PURFLEET  PRINCESS
 
ENTER SANDMAN – Slowly away.
 
TIME AND CHANCE – Raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
DASHING DUB - Approaching the 200 metres shifted in under pressure tightening another runner for room momentarily. Jockey G Watson was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. 
 
MOJAVE ROYALE - Approaching the 200 metres was tightened for room momentarily when the runner to the outside shifted in under pressure.            
 
FAST TRACK MAGIC – Raced in restricted room near the 200 metres.
