Race 1: WHARTON AND CO QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 1000 metres 
1st - ALLUDER   2nd –  SOME EXCEL    3rd  -  VEGANER   4th – JUST PRETENDS & RED CHARMER (Dead Heat).
 
BELL CHOISIR and THANK YOU were both late scratchings at 12.05pm as no riders were available.
 
RED CHARGER – reared in the barriers prior to jumping.
 
ALLUDER – jumped inwards at the start. 
 
ISPAHAN -  raced wide rounding the 800 metres turn.
 
ON A ZEPHYR –  had to be eased when racing in restricted room near the 800 metres. 
 
SOME EXCEL- raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 2: SPAR BENCHMARK 50 HANDICAP 1000 metres  
1st  -  SMART CRAFT   2nd -  BORN TO FIRE   3rd -  HONEY CAT  4th-  ISLAND TANG 
 
STAR OF ISAAC - I. Fry was a late engagement however became indisposed and could not fulfil the engagement.  STAR OF ISAAC was a late scratching at 3.17pm as no other rider was available.  Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that betting deductions of  27 cents  in the dollar for the win and 25 cents in the dollar for place bets were to apply.  Jockey Fry was advised he is to produce a medical certificate of fitness before riding again. 
 
SPLASH OUT, WHISPER WILLOW, RAPID QUALO, ZOE BAY, SPECK OF GOLD, were all scratched at 1.30pm as no riders were available. 
 
ISLAND TANG – rider reported jumped awkwardly causing her leg to contact with the starting gate. 
 
SETH – jumped awkwardly and raced wide rounding the home turn.
 
SMART CRAFT – raced wide rounding the 800 metres turn. 
 
BORN TO FIRE – jumped awkwardly and was slow to muster pace. 
 
HONEY CAT – raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 3: PLUTO BRAHAMS BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP1200 metres
1st -  REGAL CONSERVE  2nd  -  SMOOTH GENERAL  3rd -  COURT ACTION   4th  -   FLAMINGO ROSE 
 
CHOMARU was a late scratching at 1.30pm when no rider was available.
 
STRADA HILL – raced wide rounding the 800 metres turn. 
 
SMOOTH GENERAL – raced wide rounding the home turn. 
 
Race 4:  RICHMOND LIVESTOCK BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 1350 metres
1st  - WULFWIN   2nd -  HEAD DRAGON   3rd  - DIURNAL TIGER   4th – FRISCO JOURNEY 
 
FRISCO JOURNEY -  K. Aho was a late riding engagement. 
 
SUNNY CHIEF  -    was a late scratching at 4.10pm after the engaged rider became indisposed and no other rider was available.  Prior to the declaration of correct weight Stewards ordered that  betting deductions of  $0.22 cents  in the dollar for the win and $0.23 cents in the dollar for place bets were to apply.
 
TIRYNS -  Threw its head in the air on jumping. 
 
Race 5: NORTH WEST PUMPS AND POWER OPEN HANDICAP 1400 metres
1st  -  AUGUSTE   2nd  -  NOOGOORA BURR   3rd -  BEEGEES    4th -  WHAT THE HECK
 
MAGNIFICENT SHOW - raced for the majority and tired noticeably in the straight.

Race 5. FRISCO JOURNEY – Late scratching, (dual acceptor).

The commencement of the meeting was delayed until 2.45pm due to misinformation on social media leading to late arrival of several participants.
