GENERAL
As the following runners had competed at Mount Isa on Tuesday 24th October, they underwent a pre- race veterinary examination and were cleared to start.

Stewards permitted the following overweights:
Race 1:D.Ballard +1.5kg

Race 1: MCARDLE CONCRETORS Maiden Plate (1000m)
WINNING REFLECTION – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow to begin.
STILLWATER – Inconvincenced on jumping when TIANALYSA shifted in on
jumping. Raced wide rounding home turn.
TIANALYSA – Shifted in on jumping, tightening the runner to its inside. Raced wide.
Race2: LAIDLOWS SUPERMARKET BENCHMARK 65 Handicap (1000m)
WHISPERING TYCOON – Began awkwardly and was bumped by another runner. Slow into stride.
JABALI GOLD – Jumped in the air as the start was affected. Began awkwardly
bumping another runner, and as a result was slow into stride. Raced wide for the majority.
INNER SPIRIT – Began awkwardly.
Race 3: GREEN DAY ENERGY BENCHMARK 45 Handicap (1200m)
ROCKETORO – Permission was granted by stewards to allow the gelding to start with no rear plates. Stood flat footed in the barriers as the start was affected and took no competitive part in the race. Trainer J. Manzelmann was advised that the gelding would be required to trial to the satisfactorily prior to being permitted to start in a race.
BETCHA BABY – Began awkwardly, raced wide for the majority.
Race 4: BASALT GRAZING QTIS Class 3 Plate (1400m)
MISSION HOUSE – Began awkwardly and as a result was slow into stride. Raced wide for the middle stages and rounding home turn.
BELLEOFTHEHUNTER – Slow to begin.
ORCUS – Shifted in on jumping. Raced wide for the majority.
DAWN REBEL- Stewards permitted rider J. Baker to ride the mare 0.5 kg overweight. Jockey J. Baker was reprimanded pursuant to AR190(3) for accepting a ride when
overweight.
Race 5: J’S SANDS OPEN Handicap (1400m)
KINGMATE – Stewards permitted jockey J .Baker to ride the gelding 0.5 kg
overweight. Jockey J. Baker was reprimanded pursuant to AR190(3) for accepting a ride when overweight. Slow to begin and resented the kickback in running. After the running of this race jockey J. Baker was suffering heat exhaustion and was treated by QAS officers and cleared to fulfill his riding engangements.
KEY TO THE ZOU – Raced wide rounding home turn. Laid in under pressure over
the final 300m.
COLLOMBATTI – Raced wide for the majority.
