Kendrick was fined the sum of $100. _________________________________Race 1: Aura Advisory Maiden H'cap – 1400m VOLCANIC FORCE – Slow to begin. Jockey N. Thomas reported that his mount raced greenly. ELUSIVE ELEMENT – Slow to begin.APOLLO HOPE – Raced greenly in the home straight under pressure and as a result caused its rider to stop riding and straighten on a number of occasions. KING OF THE CASTLE – A post race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off foreleg. Trainer P. Duff’s representative was advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start. Race 2: Coastal Style Constructions BM 75 H'cap – 1600m VALERIE D’AMOIUR – Shifted its off fore plate en route to the barriers and upon inspection the gelding was found to have stood on the toe clip and injured the sole of its hoof and as such was subsequently declared a late scratching on veterinary advice at 1.33 pm. All monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded, with the following deductions applicable. 0 cents in the dollar for the winner #12 cents in the dollar for place of winner #13 cents in the dollar for 2nd place #62 cents in the dollar for 3rd place #2SP bets are subject to deductionsELECTRIC DEE JAY – Slow to begin. LEVER LEVER – Raced wide in the early stages before being ridden forward to take up a position outside the lead near the 1100m. STRADAM – Laid in passing the 400m and was steadied from heels. Race 3: Glass FX Maiden H'cap – 1000m The start of this race was delayed when TIS MINE was reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Trainer P. Duff was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start. OLSSON – Slow to begin.RED SELENIUM – Lost its off fore plate in running. Jockey D. Griffin reported that after travelling well the horse weakened quickly in the home straight and was making a significant respiratory noise. He also advised he dismounted due to concerns with the horse post race. A post race veterinary examination revealed an abnormal respiratory noise. Trainer J. McLachlan was advised that the horse must undergo an endoscopic examination and also officially trial prior to its next race start. I’M THINKING – Held up for a short distance passing the 300m. LITTLE LEGION – Held up for a short distance passing the 200m. CHEVYS DESIRE – Raced wide without cover. DIAMONDINE – Raced wide.PROVEGAS – Hung out throughout the race and raced greenly under pressure in the home straight. Apprentice T. Brooker reported that the gelding would appreciate a step up in distance. BIG SAGA – Jockey N. Thomas could offer no explanation for the poor performance of the colt today. Race 4: One Agency Coastal QTIS 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate – 1000m BARAMBAH BELLE – Slow to begin and lost significant ground, and then race very greenly throughout the event and failed to take a competitive part in the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the filly regarding its racing manners. BY CONCENT – Raced wide without cover. MIA SORELLA – Raced wide without cover. Jockey J. Lloyd reported that the filly got its tongue over the bit during the event. LIBELULA – Raced wide.ROSIE POSIE – Jockey G. Geran, rider of the winner, was fined the sum of $100 for using his whip in consecutive strides prior to the 100m. Race 5: Platinum Electricians Class 3 Plate – 1400m BEDISGUISED – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running in the home straight until near the 250m. Laid out under pressure in the home straight. PROMAS – Held up rounding the home turn. SKYTASTIC – Raced wide throughout.LAST TRY WINS – Jockey Griffin reported that his mount did not respond to his riding in the home straight and failed to finish the race off as it had at its most recent start. He also indicated the trainer would now be sending the horse for a spell. Jockey D. Griffin was fined $300 for using his whip more than 5 times prior to the 100m.Race 6: Shannons Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Class 1 H'cap – 1600m GOOD INTENTIONS – After being fractious in the barriers, was then slow to begin. KNIGHT ERRANT – When questioned regarding the performance, jockey M. Cahill indicated that the horse pulled its way to the lead and was unable to restrain the horse during the first 700m of the event. GODS ‘N’ WARRIORS – Overraced at heels in the early stages. MONSIEUR GUSTAVE – On return to scale jockey D. Griffin was dislodged. Jockey Griffin was examined by the doctor and cleared of injury. Race 7: Supaview Security & Sunscreen Class 1 H'cap – 1200m ATALAGA – Slow to begin and hampered soon after the start. VINNIE LOVES ME – Inconvenienced soon after the start. FIVE SPICES – Inconvenienced soon after the start. REAL KING – Inconvenienced by another runner over the concluding stages. SUPER KANGAROO – Raced wide without cover. Apprentice S. Eilbeck reported that the gelding hung out rounding the home turn after not travelling comfortably at any stages of the event. She indicated that, in her opinion, the overall performance was disappointing and advised trainer D. Hansen that she felt the horse resents racing in a tongue-tie.
