After taking evidence from the starter and viewing the film, stewards established that IMPLACABLE became fractious in the barriers prior to the start being effected and as a result lost significant ground. Stewards were satisfied that if not for the horse’s actions it was otherwise afforded a fair start and therefore declared the horse a runner and semaphored correct weight. HARLEIGH – Jumped away awkwardly and lost significant ground, taking no competitive part in the event. A warning was placed on the horse’s barrier manners. COSTA BLANCA – Raced wide without cover.
