Race 1: STANLEY RIVER THOROUGHBREDS QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP       1000 M
 
PUFF 'N' HARRY – Slow to begin.
 
DRANITZELLE – Shifted out after passing the 600m to avoid heels and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
ZOUCHASE – Lost near hind plate in running.
 
CLICK CLICK BOOM – Approaching the 250m, was bumped when QUERIDA shifted out to improve.
 
DAULAT ROTINIKUDA – Began awkwardly. Approaching the 600m, was steadied when obliged to race in restricted room to the inside of CLICK CLICK BOOM which shifted in. After passing the 600m, commenced to race greenly until entering the home straight.
 
OOHLALOUVRE – Shifted wider after passing the 600m to avoid heels and raced wide from that point onwards.  
 
QUERIDA – Slow to begin. Held up in the early stages of the home straight before shifting out to improve approaching the 250m.
 
 
 
 
Race 2: STANLEY RIVER THOROUGHBREDS QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP       1000 M
 
FULL STRENGTH – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight and then again for a short distance nearing the 250m.
 
CUTTING EDGE – Began awkwardly. Near the 500m, momentarily steadied to avoid the heels of FLYING WARRIOR. Approaching the 200m, momentarily held up before shifting to the inside to obtain clear running.
 
FLYING WARRIOR – Leaving the 700m, when being restrained to obtain cover, over raced for a short distance. Raced greenly from that point on and was also inclined to hang out.
 
DIVINE SOURCE – Slow to begin. Held up for a short distance approaching the 250m. Near the 200m put in an awkward stride and momentarily became unbalanced.  
 
BLUE MOVES – Raced wide in the middle stages.
 
BRAIDWOOD PRINCE – Slow to begin.
 
GAGNANTE ENCHERE – Raced wide in the middle stages with cover.
 
ABSINTHE CAT – Rider J. McMurray dropped his whip passing the 200m.
 
 
Race 3: ACCESS INSULATION SUNSHINE COAST MAIDEN HANDICAP   1000 M
 
STREAK OF WINNING – Raced wide until leaving the 600m.
 
DIBBA DOBBA – Shifted in nearing the 150m. When asked to comment on tactics in the early stages of the home straight, rider B. Moffat advised he was happy to follow the eventual winner STREAK OF WINNING rather than shifting wider from the home adding that he was of the opinion these tactics best suited the racing characteristics of DIBBA DOBBA.  
 
LATE NIGHT TALKING – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
MIDNIGHT MADNESS – Near the 150m had to be steadied when tightened for room by DIBBA DOBBA which shifted in when not fully clear. Rider B. Moffat was reminded of his obligation to exercise greater care in similar circumstances
 
FRODASH – Significantly slow to begin.
 
MODISTE – Obliged to steady from the heels of STREAK OF WINNING which shifted in approaching the 600m.
 
AMAHLE – Contacted the enclosure fence when moving onto the track. On arrival at the barriers, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Near the 600m, steadied from the heels of MODISTE after being crowded for room and obliged to steady from the heels of STREAK OF WINNING which shifted in when not fully clear. K. Wilson-Taylor, rider of STREAK OF WINNING, was advised to exercise greater care in similar circumstances.
 
 
Race 4: KILCOY GLOBAL FOODS RATINGS BAND 0 - 58 HANDICAP        1400 M
 
JUNGLE FEVER – Raced wide throughout. Rider S. Sutherland reported post-race that despite racing three wide, the gelding travelled comfortably, however when placed under pressure from the 400m was disappointing, adding that Jungle Fever in his opinion is better suited racing on tracks firmer than that of tonight.
 
ATLANTIC ROYAL – Restrained at the start from a wide barrier and shifted in behind runners to a obtain a rearward position closer to the inside.  
 
ABOVE THE SKY – Raced wide throughout.
 
BAVARIAN LADY – Held up rounding the home turn until passing the 100m.
 
BLUEPRINT – Held up rounding the home turn.
 
SCRIBBLE – Began awkwardly.
 
BLERIOT – Raced wide throughout.
 
PRETTY LITTLE LASS – Inconvenienced near the 1200m when CLAUDIUS over raced and shifted out. Held up briefly rounding the home turn.
 
EL KABONG – Slow to begin.
 
CLAUDIUS – Over raced in the early and middle stages. Held up for a clear run between the 600m and the 400m.
 
 
Race 5: ACCESS INSULATION SUNSHINE COAST MAGIC MILLIONS COUNTRY CUP QUALIFIER BENCHMARK 75 HANDICAP       1000 M
 
 
KAVAK – Slow to begin. Lost near fore plate in running.
 
BAD EDUCATION – After arriving at the barriers, was found to have a minor laceration to its nearside nostril, underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start. Held up rounding the home turn and had difficulty securing clear running until the 200m.
 
QUADE – Raced wide in the early stages.
 
GREAT ASPIRATIONS (NZ) – Raced wide without cover throughout the event. When asked for a comment on the performance, rider J. Guthman-Chester advised the gelding was not suited by the fast early pace of the race and in his opinion would be better suited in races over a longer distance than that of tonight.  
 
INVINOVICH – Near the 300m, shifted out across heels to obtain clear running.
 
GROOMED – Slow to begin.
 
CHAKRA BOY – Post race veterinary examination revealed symptoms of moderate heat stress and the thumps.  
 
Race 6: ACCESS INSULATION FRASER COAST BENCHMARK 65 HANDICAP       1200 M
 
 
BILLY'S BRO – Inclined to hang out after being placed under pressure in the home straight.
 
PIVOTAL LAD – Slow to begin. Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the home straight and approaching the 300m was steadied from heels before obtaining running a short distance later.
 
BELISTIC MAN – Bumped at the start.  
 
LA SOEUR – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
 
WHISTLING SPIRIT – Began awkwardly.
 
BADDA BOOM BABY – Slow to begin.
 
LUCKY LENI – Held up rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight.
 
Race 7: JPI LININGS BENCHMARK 62 HANDICAP         1600 M
 
BARELLO – Began awkwardly. Held up for clear running from the entrance to the home straight until approaching the winning post and went to the line without being tested.
 
AUTUNNO – After experiencing transport difficulties en route to the trrack, underwent a veterinary examination upon arrival on course and was cleared to start. Slow to begin. Passing the 500m, resented racing to the inside of TIRITIRI and became awkward in its action for a number of strides.
 
BOLD HUSSAR – Raced wide in the early stages before obtaining the position outside the leader nearing the 800m.
 
DAMIANI – Raced wide throughout.  
 
TIRITIRI (NZ) – Near the 1400m, improved onto the heels of DARK THINKER and had to be steadied.   
 
MAGADAN – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running between the 200m and the 100m.
