Race 1:  JBOYS Class B Handicap (1075 METRES)
 
HARRY MET SANDY was declared a late scratching at 11.30pm by stewards due to no available rider.
 
IMPUESTO - Contact with another runner at the start.
 
SIR CLISBY - Contact with another runner at the start.
 
GOYUNG THIEF - Contact with another runner at the start.
 
BYRON BABE - Contact with another runner at the start. Rider reported to stewards that it failed to stretch out properly during the race due to the firm surface.
 
MOWER - Contact with another runner at the start and lost ground.
 
DUFOUR- raced wide throughout without cover.
 
Race 2:  THE LEGEND LIVES ON BenchMark 60 Handicap (1200 METRES)
 
WAYS AND MEANS - Contact with another runner at the start.
 
MADAM AUBERGE - Contact with another runner at the start.
 
QUICK ASSAULT – raced wide without cover from the 600 metres until the finish.
 
DELAGOS steadied off the heels of another runner at the 500 metres.
 
Race 3: FLINDERS PLATE BenchMark 45 Handicap (1400 METRES)

CLASPED - Slow to begin.
 
SPEEDREADER - Slow to begin.
 
OUR DEB - Raced wide throughout.
 
BELLEVUE EXPRESS – raced wide without cover from the 700 metres until the finish.
 
Race 4: XXXX Maiden Plate (800 METRES)
 
FLAMBOYANT MISS - Delay to correct weight when Stewards viewed the patrol film of the start and spoke to rider and trainer regarding the horse at the start. After doing so, it was established that the filly began awkwardly with the field when the start was effected and accordingly was deemed to be a runner. It was further established that the reins on the butterfly bit were not fitted correctly to FLAMBOYANT MISS which contributed to the rider having little control over the filly during the race.
 
FLAMBOYANT MISS – Began awkwardly. Shortly after start the bit was pulled through the mouth and rider had difficulty controlling the filly throughout.
 
MISS DORA - Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
Race 5: OWNERS & TRAINERS BM55 Handicap (800 METRES)
 
Stewards permitted jockey Ashley Butler to ride SOUTHERN ALBATROSS overweight when no other rider was available.
 
Trainer Krystal Johnston presented CRAIGLEA PISTOL to the saddling enclosure with the incorrect gear. Permitted to race with tongue tie.
 
LUSHINESS – Began awkwardly.
 
DE MESTRE – Lost ground at the start when squeezed by to other runners.
 
CRAIGLEA PISTOL – bumped other runner at the start.
 
AND JUBILATIONS – bumped other runner at the start.
 
EXCEL WITH REWARD steadied near 50 metres when hampered by another runner.
 
AND JUBILTAIONS shifted in and away from another runner near the 50 metres.
