Race 1: Hotel Settlers BM 55 Handicap 1075 metres
 
KING RUSSELL- Slow into stride.
 
Race 2: Biloela Bob Cats Class B Handicap- 1200 metres
 
Stewards spoke to Jockey S Sheargold and Trainer C Russell in relation to Jockey Sheargold being dually engaged. Stewards will make further investigation to determine if any action is required. Jockey P Romeo was the replacement rider for DYNAMIC DRAGON.
 
ROWDY ROUSEY- Stood flat-footed, lost considerable ground and tailed the field throughout. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormalities. A further barrier certificate will be required prior to its next race start.
 
DYNAMIC DRAGON- Raced wide throughout.
 
LIGHTNING ARTIST- Slow to begin.
 
Race 3: Hotel Settlers Maiden Plate- 1300m
 
EDGEROI GAMBLER- Raced wide throughout.
 
GOLD CROWN- Jumped in, clipped heels of CLAPPIN’ STICK, knuckled and unbalanced the rider.
 
MISS RICH- At the request of the rider, underwent a veterinary inspection and was cleared to start.
 
CLAPPIN STICK- Commenced to yield ground from the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormalities.
 
Stewards viewed the photo finish image for minor placings prior to correct weight.
 
Race 4: Simmons Bakery Open Handicap 1300 metres
 
LOGICAL OUTCOME- Explanation for late declaration of rider was accepted.
 
ROCKABELLA BOY- When no other rider was available, Jockey M Barnham was permitted to ride 2 ½ kilograms overweight.
 
HULK HENRY- Raced wide throughout.
 
TESTASCANA- Jumped in across HULK HENRY and bumped outwards by LOGICAL OUTCOME.
 
Race 5:  Biloela Bob Cats BM 55 Handicap 1400 metres
 
OUR INVESTMENT- Explanation for late declaration of rider was accepted.
 
OZEIN- When no other rider was available, Jockey M Barnham was permitted to ride 1 ½ kilograms overweight.
 
SWINGAHINCH- Declared a late scratching at 11am.
 
LITTLE MISS ROCKER- Raced wide throughout.
 
LUCKY TICKET- Near 900 metres, lay in.
 
BELLA SONG- Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
MADAM PINK- Near 1000 metres, when racing keenly, steadied from heels.
 
Race 6:  Simmons Bakery Class B Handicap 800 metres
 
MOUNTAIN FIRE- Eased down from the 200 metres. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormality. Stewards will follow up on the condition of the horse in the coming days.
 
Apprentice L Dodds was struck in the right forearm/elbow when SHADWELL FLYER was fractious in the place getters stall. Attended by ambulance officers and may require further examination.
