SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT

GENERAL

As Bradley Appo was not riding due to commitments at another venue, riding replacements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.

RACE 1: DC ACCOUNTING RATINGS BAND 0-60 H'CAP – 870M

Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards viewed the patrol footage to ascertain whether GO GET SUM had gained an advantage at the start. After viewing the patrol footage, Stewards established that all barriers opened simultaneously upon the starter effecting the start of the race. Furthermore, it was established that GO GET SUM lunged forward as the barriers were opening, making contact with the gates, forcing its barrier to open slighter quicker than the remaining barriers. As Stewards were satisfied that GO GET SUM had not forced its barrier open prior to the starter effecting the start, they did not feel that GO GET SUM had gained an advantage at the start and therefore correct weight was declared.

DARLING BE GOOD – Late scratching at 7.52 a.m. for veterinary reasons.

JEPTOO – Jumped in at the start. Steadied near the 700m when momentarily placed in restricted room. On returning to scale apprentice G. Willoughby reported that her mount laid in for the majority of the event.

MONTE LAGO – Knuckled on jumping away.

SHORELINE – Blundered on jumping away. Steadied near the 1100m to avoid the heels of DESTIVA, which shifted in when not completely clear. G.
