From Toowoomba – Saturday 14 December 2019
Stewards reconvened an inquiry involving Apprentice M. Savva who was the rider of BLACK JAGUAR in Race 1 at Toowoomba on Saturday 14 December 2019.  After taking evidence from Apprentice Savva’s master, Mr. M. Boland, Apprentice M. Savva was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR. 131(a). Apprentice Savva’s licence to ride in races was suspended for 10 days to commence at midnight on Wednesday 1 January 2020, being the expiration date of a pending period of suspension, and expire at midnight on Saturday 11 January 2020. In determining penalty, Stewards took into consideration Apprentice Savva’s not guilty plea and were also mindful that the incident occurred on the first day of Apprentice Savva’s return from a prior period of suspension.

Yoshida) out slightly resulting in CAMBOOYA ROCK (App. S. Wilcock) clipping heels and blundering. It was established that MAKE A RULER was obliged to shift in to avoid the heels of BOOM BOY which shifted out marginally and WE BUILT THIS CITY which shifted in marginally resulting in ADDICTED, OKANAGAN MISS and PIERIDAE to the inside being tightened for room and NEW ALLIANCE blundering after being checked after passing the winning post.
