RACE 1 WARWICK RSL MEMORIAL CLUB MAIDEN PLATE 800m

Apprentice H Phillips advised stewards that following a recent illness her weight had not stabilised and she would be able to claim only 1kg of her 2kg claim on MRS BOOLE. Trainer B Hudson requested that an experienced apprentice ride the mare given her racing manners at her last start.Permission was given for Appr Phillips to ride the mare and Appr Phillips was fined an amount of $100.
BROWN LINES jumped awkwardly.
RED LINES jumped in the air at the start and lost considerable ground.
TRIPLE ONE jumped out at the start and BEYOND LIMITS jumped inwards causing SHEZ OUR DESTINY to be tightened.
AMBER JET hung in throughout.
LEADING STORY was eased at the 600m when another runner hung inwards. LEADING STORY baulked at the winning post over the concluding stages.





RACE 2 MICK RAWLINS MEMORIAL CLASS B HCP1200M

SHE’S A KICKER dislodged Appr A Spinks on the way to the barrier. SHE’S A KEEPER returned to the vicinity of the mounting yard where she was quickly captured and returned to the barriers where she was passed fit to race by the Veterinary Officer.
DIVA DREAMER was very slow to jump.
PUNK STAR jumped away on terms but was very slow into stride.
HEZA CHUMLEY was crowded at the start.
HASHTAG YOLO was slow to go and raced very widely on the home turn.
DEPUTY PECK which was tiring ducked out when hit with the whip over the latter stages.
Jockey J Hoopert reported to stewards that his mount CLOSE ENOUGH wanted to hang out badly when racing inside WHISPERING WINGS and FAMOUS GROUSE at the 600m. Jockey Hoopert said he took hold of his mount which then lost ground quickly when it got on to the heels of WHISPERING WINGS.
WUNGONG SAX was eased from heels at the 660m and lost ground.







RACE 3 WARWICK RSL MEMORIAL MAIDEN CLUB PLATE 1350m

Appr H Phillips was given permission to ride ALEMANA claiming half a kilo of a 2 kg allowance after discussing the matter with ALEMANA’s trainer M B Phillips. Appr Phillips fined $100.
I’M BENJAMIN BUTTON was slow to leave the barriers.
SMART CRAFT was slow to jump then made up ground quickly racing onto heels at the 900m. SMART CRAFT then raced greenly to the 700m with her head in the air and lost ground.
WIG WAM BAM bumped by a runner shifting out at the 800m.
ROUGH KISS shifted out over the final stages.
BIRTHDAY WISHES very wide on the home turn.



RACE 4 WARWICK RSL MEMORIAL CLUB CLASS 3 1350M

BLESSINGS was slow to jump.
OLLIE RUNS RIOT jumped outwards inconveniencing INKA DINKA DO. The rider of OLLLIE RUNS RIOT inconvenienced when the near side rein slipped in the last 75 m.
INKA DINKA DO lost ground at the start when bumped by another runner. INKA DINKA DO was held up until 150m where she shifted out sharply to obtain clear running. The trainer of INKA DINKA DO Mr N Nugent when questioned regarding an improved performance said that the mare had improved in fitness, the race was longer and the class weaker than the previous start. Explanation noted.
Appr L Tilley was asked regarding the riding instructions on ITS’s ALL IRISH. Appr Tilley said that he was told to work home from the 600m but as he shifted out from a trailing position another runner also raced forward outside the leader placing him in a three wide rider position. He then drifted further out in the home turn as he felt that the going was better in the centre of the track. Explanation noted.
Appr G Willoughly was fined $200 for striking her mount INKA DINKA DO 8 times prior to the 100m.

RACE 5 WARWICK MEMORIAL CLUB LONG TAN CUP BENCHMARK 65 HCP. 1100M

BLOODED was very slow to jump.
RUSTIC PLAY was wide in the early stages.
CAN HE RAP was wide without cover in the middle stages.
Appr L Tilley reported that TURBO TEDDY tended to shift out for most of the race.
RUFFO raced greenly at the 700m getting on to heels.
