SUPPLIMENTARY REPORT- 
 
 
RACE 1: PETER WATT MEMORIAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 800M-
 
COCKTAILSALLROUND- Began awkwardly. Forced to alter course to secure clear running leaving the 100m.
 
TEDDER AVENUE- Tightened for room at the start and lost ground.
 
BOLD CROSSING- Hampered at the start, lost ground and then raced wide throughout.
 
CRAIGLEA SECRET- Slow to begin and then bucked shortly after the start taking no competitive part in the event. Trainer G Schrader was advised that the colt would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
 
POSITIVE SPIN- Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
AVASA- Raced greenly in the home straight.
 
BOLD CROSSING- A post-race veterinary inspection revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore leg. Trainer P Clarke will be advised that he will be required to obtain a Veterinary Clearance for the gelding prior to it next racing.
 
RACE 2: TED WEIER MEMORIAL CLASS B HANDICAP 1100M-
 
RUNAWAY RULER- Made contact with the enclosure fence when entering the track. Was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon upon arrival at the barriers and was cleared to start. Slow to begin.
 
SIDEREUS DISCORD- Slow to Begin.
 
SHELLY’S DREAM- Raced wide in the early stages.
 
RUNKLE- Slow to begin.
 
EXCEEDINGLY COOL- Forced wider on the track by another runner at the 700m and raced wide from that point.
 
CRAFTY AQULIA- Forced wider on the track by another runner for a short distance near the 700m.
 
LEADING STORY- Steadied near the 800m when DESTINY’S SISTER hung in despite the efforts of its rider.
 
STORM ANCHOR- Steadied from heels whilst over racing near the 800m when CLOSE ENOUGH shifted in when not completely clear. Jockey K Yoshida the rider of CLOSE ENOUGH was advised to exercise more care. On return to the enclosure it was noted that the tongue tie and crossover noseband of gelding was displaced in running.
 
RACE 3: MICK RAWLINGS MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 65 HCAP 1100 M
 
GUD ONYA- Raced in restricted room for a short distance in the early stages to the inside of HEZA CHUMLEY which shifted in when not completely clear. G Willoughby was advised to exercise more care.
 
STARWOOD- Jockey P Hamblin was reprimanded for using his whip on consecutive occasions prior to the 100m.
 
RACE 4: TREVOR LOCKE MEMORIAL BENCHMARK 55 HCAP 1350M
 
DAZZY’S DAY- Declared a late scratching by order of Stewards at 10:15am after injuring itself on the float whilst being transported to the track.
 
WORLD SERIES- Slow to begin.
 
FLEURIEU- Slow to begin. Jockey P Hamblin could offer no explanation for the below market expectation performance of the mare. A Post race Veterinary Examination failed to reveal any abnormalities
 
FONDUE- Forced to steady to avoid heels when attempting to secure clear running rounding the home turn.
 
RACE 5: HECTOR HOCKINGS MEMORIAL CLASS B HCAP 1500M
This race was run in heavy rain. Subsequently the track was downgraded to a Good 4 retrospective to include this race.
 
PARELEMA- Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
OUR MATE TURTLE- Slow to begin.
 
RODEO DESTINY- Hung out throughout the event. Trainer B Robinson was advised a warning will be issued against the horses racing manners.
