Race 1: ELDERS WINTON BM 55 HANDICAP 800 metres
 
ANGELS OF FENWAY – Jumped away awkwardly.
 
LORD WINDERMERE – Slow to begin.
 
STATIC LIFT – Travelled wide for much of the race, resenting the dusty track conditions.
 
PHOENIX SHADOW – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
KOBY’S STRATEGY – Gates ricocheted back onto the gelding causing him to be slow away.
 
SILENTUS – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages. 
 
 
Race 2: HBB ELECTRICAL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE 800 metres
 
Ric McMahon was the rider of DACXI BUBBLES and permitted by stewards to ride 3kg overweight as no other rider was available.
 
LOVE’S BEST HOPE was a late scratching at 11.45am as no suitable rider available.
 
NITT WHITT – Contacted at the start by another runner jumping awkwardly. The gelding took fright at the winning post ducking outwards.
 
STRUTTAROUND – Jumped outwards contacting NITT WHITT. On returning to the mounting yard it was noted that the gelding had bled from both nostrils. As a result, connections were notified that the gelding will be barred from any future race starts and will now be retired.
 
RUM READY – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
SHE’S WINNIE BLUE – Hung out rounding the home turn,
 
TANTALISING MISS – Slow to begin.
 
DACXI BUBBLES – Jumped away awkwardly & slow, then resented the dusty conditions in running.
 
JAY KAY CEE – Slow to begin.
 
 
Race 3: QANTAS CLASS B HANDICAP 1000 metres
 
Jockey Dan Ballard was permitted by stewards to ride 1kg overweight on ROCK’N BLITZ.
 
MACKELLAR’s VOICE & STRIKE POINT bumped on jumped.
 
ARCING HARD – Travelled wide with cover for much of the race.
 
FANDRAL – Slow to begin.
 
COUPE DE VILLE – Reared in the mounting yard dislodging jockey Alisha Ross who was uninjured and fine to fulfill her riding engagements.
 
MONTE SANTO – Jumped on terms with other runners then did not respond to the rider’s urgings. A post-race veterinary inspection revealed no abnormalities.
 
TENT LOVER – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
 
Race 4: CLONCURRY CLASS 6 PLATE 1000 metres
 
Jockey Jason Babarovich was permitted by stewards to ride 1kg overweight on HUNTING.
 
ALFIARTO – Travelled wide in the early & middle stages, lay in down the home straight.
 
WICKED GRIMSHAW – Awkward & slow to begin and over raced in the early & middle stages.
 
HUNTING – Jumped awkwardly and crow hopped for a stride shortly after the start then travelled wide for the remainder.
 
Race 5: RINGROSE & BUTTON BM 55 HANDICAP 1200 metres
 
AMERICAN SUMMER was a late scratching at 11.45am with no rider available.
 
Jockey Dan Ballard was permitted by stewards to ride 1kg overweight on MORE THAN FORTUNE.
 
BACCHUR – Tightened for room in the back straight.
 
WRITER’S BLOCK – Travelled wide for much of the race.
 
EXPLOSIVE MISSILE – Travelled wide in the middle stages.
 
 
 
Race 6: AUSTRALIAN AGE OF DINOSAURS BM 60 HANDICAP 1400 metres
 
Ric McMahon was the rider of MOVING TARGET and permitted by stewards to ride 4kg overweight.
 
KING LANDON – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide for much of the race.
