Race 1: Yeppoon Panel and Paint BM 50 Handicap - 1800 metres

RED BOHEMIA- Began awkwardly.

UNDER THE LIGHTS: Began awkwardly and commenced to buck shortly after the start and took no competitive part in the race. Trainer J Manzelmann was advised that the gelding must compete in a barrier jumpout over at least 800 metres prior to its next start.

Jockey M Barnham pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that he permitted DIAMOND RACER to shift in near the 1600 metres when insufficiently clear of GUNDY MAGIC (A. Coome) which was checked and lost its rightful running. Jockey Barnham’s licence to ride in races was suspended from 5 March 2016 up to 14 March 2016.

Apprentice Z White was reprimanded for use of her whip on more than 5 occasions and some consecutively. Stewards took into account this was her first offence under the amended rules and her return to race riding from injury.

Race 2: Inspirations Paint and Colour QTIS 2YO Maiden Handicap - 1100 metres

WALTZIN ROCKET- Slow to begin.

OUR INVESTMENT and LADY STIRLING made contact on jumping.

STAR FROM HEAVEN- Brushed with another runner on jumping.

CRUNCH TIME- Raced wide for the majority of the race.

Race 3: JRT Civil Pty Ltd Maiden Plate- 1000 metres

WHISKEY LAD- Jumped out at the start.

PRETTY SENORITA- Slow to begin.

PALE FACE ROCKET- Slow to begin.

PERFUME PASSION- Jumped out onto another runner. Raced wide throughout.

DYNAMIC DRAGON- Contact with another runner. Raced wide with cover.

MISS DORA- Commenced to yield ground near the 400 metres.

DANEBERRY ROAD- Near 400 metres, steadied when another runner lost ground.

Race 4: Keppel Bay Sailing Club Class 3 Plate- 1000 metres

ELLE THE MODEL- Slow to begin.

OSSENHAGAN- Rider dropped whip near 100 metres.

QUICK ASSAULT- Began a little awkwardly.

Race 5: Ray White Yeppoon Class B Handicap- 1400 metres

CYNISCA- When A Butler was to be overweight, he was replaced by D. Hayse. Jockey A Butler was subsequently fined $100.

SOTTER- Jumped in onto another runner. Raced wide with cover throughout.

CUPSTER- Contacted by another runner at the start.

DANE CHEVAL- Jumped in onto another runner. Raced wide without cover throughout.

DUDOOMP- Contacted at the start by another runner.

ALOHA CAPTAIN- Trainer reprimanded in regard to late declaration of rider.

Jockey D Evans was reprimanded for use of his whip one more than permitted and once consecutively.
