Race 1: Yeppoon Turf Club Members QTIS 3YO Maiden- 1100 metres

ROWDY RONDA- Jumped outwards at the start.

MISS DE MIRAGE- Slow to begin and slow into stride, raced some distance from the field until near the 600 metres.

I TRUST LAYLA- Hung out near the 700 metres and took STAR FROM HEAVEN out.

STAR FROM HEAVEN- Raced three wide without cover from the 700 metres.

Race 2: Capricorn Rewind Electrical/ Rockhampton Engineering Co Maiden Plate- 950 metres

OUR BOY HIPPY was declared a late scratching at 9.40am. Trainer R Vale was fined $100 for the failing to scratch by the required time (AR 114).

ICE CI- Hung out in the middle stages of the race.

PEPPER POPP- Slow to begin.

ADAYONDEK- Jumped awkwardly inwards at the start. Jockey A Taylor was fined $100 for use of her whip on two more occasions that permissible.

JUST CALL ME ANNIE- Fractious in the enclosure and harmlessly dislodged its rider. Jumped out at the start onto LINE AND LENGTH.

LINE AND LENGTH- Explanation accepted for the late declaration of rider. Contacted at the start by another runner. When struck with the whip shortly after the start, shifted out and make contact with DYNAMIC DRAGON. Raced wide without cover.

EIRE’S LEGACY- Raced without cover throughout.

Race 3: Rick Byrne Electrical & Air Conditioning BM 50 Handicap- 1000 metres

Pre-race veterinary inspections of LUCKY ELITE and COURTMAN, both resuming from significant spells, cleared both to take their place in the field.

BAGGER MUSCLES- At the start, jumped in onto BENJI. Raced wide without cover throughout.

BENJI- Taken in at the start, buffeted and tightened between BAGGER MUSCLES and WHISKEY LAD.

CRAIGLEA ALTISE- Began awkwardly, lost ground and tailed the field for the majority of the race.

BINESI- Near the 700 metres, hung out and caused another runner to be tightened.

COURTZIG- Near the 700 metres, tightened when a runner hung out and another shift in and away from another runner.

WHISKEY LAD- Near the 700 metres, shifted in and away from a runner to its outside. A short distance later, had to be steady when CLAIR DU MONDE shifted in when not fully clear. Jockey J Stephens was reprimanded.

Race 4: J & C Legh Engineering Class B Handicap- 1400 metres

TABITHA MAGIC- Explanation accepted for the late rider declaration. Start was delayed when the mare was fractious in the barrier, removed and inspection and cleared to take its place in the field. Slow to begin.

WILDING- Declared a late scratching at 3.20pm when no rider was available.

MISS JAMAICA- Raced three wide without cover throughout.

FRANKY COLD MEDINA- Slow to begin and raced wide with cover throughout.

THE GIRLS IN PARIS- Tightened and lost ground when another runner jumped inwards.

CHAIN THE GATE- Unable to obtain clear running until near the 150 metres.
