Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. LIEUTENANT – Placed in restricted room, checked and lost ground near the 650m when SIRFINA shifted in. Jockey C. Jokic (the rider of SIRFINA) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that at a point near the 650m, she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of LIEUTENANT, resulting in that runner being tightened for room, checked from heels and lost ground. Jockey Jokic’s licensed to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days to commence midnight 28/4/2022 and to conclude midnight 6/5/2022. REVENIRE – Slow to begin. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. KRAVITZ – Apprentice S. Robbins was reprimanded under AR132(7)(a)(ii) for her use of the whip 7 times prior to the 100m. GALAPAGOS – Slow to begin. Race 2:STAR LIQUOR YEPPOON MAIDEN PLATE – 950m BEFORE SUNRISE – Slow to begin. SO FIRED UP – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Race 3:HUNTLYS HEAVY EQUIPMENT CLASS B HANDICAP – 1000m BEGS BELIEF – Raced keen in the early stages. BOOTYFUL DIVA – Began awkwardly tightening another runner to the outside. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. SILVAPLANA – Tightened for room on jumping. I’M STROLLING – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Raced wide without cover in the early stages. ALBERTESSA – Raced keen in the early stages. Race 4: REGAL'S DENTAL QTIS THREE-YEAR-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP – 1200m FIGHT IN THE DOG – Raced in restricted room and lost ground near the 700m. MISHANI DREAMER – Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. LYNRIC LASS – Slow to begin. Raced wide without cover for the majority. TURF EDITION – Began awkwardly. TWISTED WHISKEY – Began awkwardly and lost ground. MOTORED – Began awkwardly. Raced with its head in the air whilst being restrained near the 1000m. Raced keen in the early and middle stages. Race 5:G.J. GARDNER HOMES YEPPOON CLASS B HANDICAP – 1400m NIKSICKO – Began awkwardly. Commenced to weaken from the 600m taking no further competitive part in the event. Upon returning to scale Jockey A. Sewell advised that his mount changed strides throughout and proved difficult to ride out in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. CHICO – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. YUBETIDO – Bumped on jumping. MENSCHKEIT – Began awkwardly. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight. Shied outwards when passing the winning post placing its rider unbalanced. SETHLANS – Improved onto heels and was forced to steady near the 900m. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight.
