Hung out for a major part of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the near foreleg. Trainer K. Kelly was advised that the horse must perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial prior to being permitted to race again and that a veterinary clearance will also be required. Mr Kelly advised stewards that the horse would be retired from his stables.
