A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the near fore knee. Raced wide for the majority of the race. ??????Trainer M. Eggleston indicated that the horse would more than likely be retired from racing. Mr Eggleston was advised that should he decide to continue to race the horse, a veterinary certificate would be required.
