Hung out badly approaching and rounding the home turn and proved difficult to ride. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer R. Howard was advised that the horse must trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to racing again and would be ineligible to compete at provincial meetings until it can establish competitive form in the country.
