Underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers at the request of the rider and was passed fit to race. Slow to begin. Trainer B. Robinson was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding for being uncompetitive. The veterinary surgeon reported post-race that the gelding was showing some sign of lameness. Trainer B. Robinson will be advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance prior to its next start.
