Near the 900m was obliged to steady from the heels of CLICKETY CLICKS which, when racing keenly, shifted out marginally. Returned to the enclosure with blood in the nearside nostril. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the presence of blood in the left nostril as a result of making contact with the barriers. Trainer D. Murphy was also advised that an endoscopic examination would be required to be undertaken prior to the gelding’s return to racing.
