The start was delayed initially when the horse became fractious behind the barriers. Following a veterinary examination it was passed fit to start. A post race veterinary examination revealed contusions to the off foreleg and also to have a laceration to the near-side foreleg. Trainer M. Nolan will be advised that a veterinary certificate must be provided prior to its next race start.
