Proved reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Hung out leaving the 800m and took no competitive part in the race from that point. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer G. Schrader was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
