Brooker, rider of MIA MAGIC, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that approaching the 400m she allowed her mount to shift out when not fully clear of ENDLESS HOPE, resulting in jockey A. Spinks having to take hold of ENDLESS HOP to avoid the heels of ASTRONOMIC. Apprentice Brooker was suspended from riding in races for a period of 9 days, to commence at midnight 16 October and to expire at midnight, 25 October.
