L. Cassidy reported at scale that his mount hung out throughout the event and was eased over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be exhibiting a short-striding action. Stewards will contact trainer B. Smith in coming days regarding the horse’s post-race recovery.
