Trainer B. Currie was questioned regarding the tactics adopted today as compared with those adopted at the colt’s previous start at the Gold Coast. Mr Currie advised that at the Gold Coast the instructions were to push forward and lead if possible, however, after being hampered at the start, the colt settled further back than he would have wished. He said that the instructions today were always to go forward, the same as those issued at the previous start.
