Steadied from heels near 1200m when overracing. Rider explained from wide draw instructions were to take a hold at start and ride from a rearward position. When asked if he could have made an effort to improve into race from 600m intentions were to improve three wide however, it was inclined to lay in behind LA SCOPA. Added filly continued to do so in straight and only finished race off fairly. Added trainer advised it may be her intention to experiment with blinkers before next start. Trainer confirmed instructions. Trainer reprimanded for failing to advise intention to vary racing pattern.
