Tightened for room near the 2000m and had to be steadied. Became unbalanced when racing in restricted room near the 1300m. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer K. Kemp was advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily and that a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, must be produced prior to the gelding being permitted to race again.
