When questioned regarding the horse’s performance, B. Stewart explained that he was obliged to race in restricted room to the inside of TOUJOURS L’AMOUR from the 700m until approaching the home turn, which resulted in his mount becoming unbalanced and changing stride on a number of occasions. Jockey Stewart added that bearing in mind this occurrence he was not disappointed with today’s performance.
