Rider questioned re manner in which he rode mount out over concluding stages - explained stopped riding after passing 100m when concerned if he continued to ride mount along he would have been awkwardly placed at heels of SIR MAGIC, which was continually shifting in. Added of the opinion his mount’s run had come to an end and being out of contention he desisted form pressuring it in the run to the line. Stewards accepted explanation.
