Shifted out abruptly near the 1200m. Trainer T. Cotsiopoulos reported that the gelding returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit.

After being fractious in the float en route to the course the gelding was inspected by the veterinary surgeon prior to the race and cleared to start. Trailed the field throughout and took no competitive part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
