Under pressure at the 800m and weakened badly in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination found the gelding to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer S. Kendrick was advised that STAR OF MICHELIN must obtain a veterinary clearance, trial satisfactorily and, given this was the second occasion on which the horse has suffered cardiac arrhythmia, must undergo testing under the supervision of a cardiologist, with the results provided to QRIC veterinary staff, prior to the gelding being permitted to race again.
