Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn and the early stages of the home straight until a point near the 250 metres. Rider G Boss explained after initially being unable to shift wider on the track rounding the home turn when SITUATION ROOM was racing to his outside he was unable to improve in the early stages of the home straight between LEBANESE TRADER and BLUE PACIFIC. He added when BLUE PACIFIC was inclined to lay in at that stage he elected to shift to the outside of that runner and became awkward at the heels of BLUE PACIFIC when shifting out to improve at the 250 metres.
