Began awkwardly. Near the 1100m, was obliged to steady when awkwardly placed. Held up for the majority of the home straight. When questioned, Rdr stated made the decision to shift to the out when rounding home turn, however when the runner in front shifted wider, it resulted in being caught to the outside of the heels of horse and as a consequence, was unable to secure clear running for the remainder of the home straight. Added, that in hindsight it may have been a better option to remain on the rail, availing a run to the inside
