When asked to comment on the performance of the horse, jockey D. Browne indicated his mount did not begin with its customary speed and did not travel at any stage of the event. He added he was disappointed with the performance as he had trialled the horse and had been happy with that performance. Trainer Mr S. Kendrick indicated he was extremely disappointed with the performance and would have the horse undergo an endoscopic examination, have blood samples taken and would report the findings back to stewards.
